The world of television is full of TV shows that are produced and aired

Television shows are a great source of inspiration. They often depict a true story and they’re popular because they give us a glimpse into the human condition. But the truth is that television is made up of fictional scripts, people and situations.

Our creative writing abilities might be limited to a certain degree, but we can still make use of them to create engaging content for our companies and brands. AI writers can be of great help when you have an idea for a TV show, but don’t know how to write it down or in what format it should be presented.

We all love to watch our favorite TV shows and movies. In the future, we may see a time where TV will become an internet channel and some other devices will be able to watch it on their own.

There are very few television shows that have a big impact on our lives (e.g. “Doubt”) but the influence of the shows is huge – so much so, that many people consider them as cult phenomena. Examples of this include:

“Game of Thrones” (has reached 46 million viewers per episode)

and “The Wire”. In fact, Netflix has increased its viewing shares from 34% to 51% in June 2018 and from 11% to 20% in October 2017. This huge impact shows how popular these programs are with people across regions, countries and cultures.

A number of countries are producing and consuming more television than before. In the last 10 years, the number of TV channels has increased to 646. With that, the population has grown to about 7.9 billion persons (7,941 million people) according to the Global Mobile Subscription Report 2017 published by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2018. So it’s not surprising that people are increasingly watching TV shows on their smartphones and other devices instead of traditional TVs. Also, Netflix globally is getting bigger every year with a market share of 30% which makes it one of the most popular TV streaming service in Hollywood industry which is why we hear so much about ‘Netflix fatigue’.

The television industry has not been as fast to embrace automation as the other media industries. However, it is slowly starting to adapt to the digital world. There are a lot of new features in recent years that make TV networks more user-friendly and interactive. For example, the connected television experience, live streaming video and multiplexes have become widely available and popular.

There are still quite a few hurdles in order for us to see people watching TV shows on a TV with an autonomy that can offer them some superior options when it comes to content selection, but eventually we might see this vision come true.
